Ricey asked me today what my favorite game of all time was… and after a quick ponder, I gave “Deus Ex” as my answer (Ricey’s was Super Mario Bros 3…. bah! He’s such a Ninty fanboy sometimes! lol ;) ).
The original Deus Ex was so fresh and… well… original. It was/is the perfect mix of FPS, Roleplay, Stealth and Action I’ve ever seen in a game, with an awesome convoluted storyline and multiple endings - and I played it a hell of a lot. Its just a shame Invisible War was such a letdown.
However, Eidos have a chance to redeem themselves with Deus Ex 3… and a new teaser trailer has just been released for the game. It doesn’t give away much… but doesn’t the voiceover sound like J.C Denton?
South Park recently decided to spoof Guitar Hero, instead calling it “Guitar Queero”. I have to say, its pretty funny… being a guitar hero addict myself (I STILL can’t do Metallica’s “One” or Slayer’s “Raining Blood” on hard!).
Anyway there’s a quick video included after the jump. :)
Sorry - I had to post this just because its complete genius… :D
Its a video of a breakdancer doing a public display, and accidentally kicking a small child - but some clever sod has added Street Fighter music and sound effects, which is total genius!
I’ve just read a Eurogamer review of Super Mario Galaxy, generously giving the game 10/10… which is encouraging for the Wii - Ninty pulling through once more (Cheers to Ninty fanboy Ricey for linkage ;) ).
However the review’s kinda left a stale taste in my mouth… and I’ve come to realise that what I read a while back on Digg is so true… Gaming reviews suck.
I’ve been drooling over this game since I heard about it… and along with Halo 3 and GTA IV, is one of my reasons for buying an Xbox 360… and many a gamer has drooled over Jade Raymond - one of the game’s producers… here’s a pic for you guys. ;)
The game is released in about a week… so I thought I’d share a gameplay movie of one of the first assassination missions.
